At Friendship, we desire that you would experience, connect, and respond to the Gospel! And we believe that belonging to a Friendship Group is at the core of how this takes place in your life. Friendship Groups are small groups which provide opportunities for Prayer, Bible Study, Fellowship, Service, and Community!
So, we strongly encourage every adult to get involved in one of these groups!
We are committed to bringing glory to God by men equipping men for Christ-Like servant leadership in their homes, church, workplace and community with the goal of becoming more like Christ. The unavoidable fact is that in church, women have filled more pews and volunteer positions and participated in more activities than men. We know how important a community of men in our church truly is and can be for not only them but for the whole church. Any man is welcomed at our church (single, widowed, married) and will feel welcomed. Our men bond together over just about anything. We truly love one another and strive to be and help others be more like Christ.
However, we know that men especially need to see the movement of Christ outside of the walls of the church building. We try to get together regularly outside of normal services. We east breakfast the 2nd Saturday of every month. We also like to shoot skeet, fish, hunt, you name it. And it is all done while creating lasting and transforming relationships that ultimately glorify Christ! |
Our church has women of many different personalities, life experiences, talents, natural abilities and God-given gifts to create the kind of atmosphere that will be meaningful and fun. We hope that this ministry will make a difference in the life of women who are in our community and even around the world.
Women are typically natural socializers and love to spend time together and especially enjoy being part of each other's lives. However, if that is not necessarily you, you will also be welcomed in with open arms. We attempt to help women connect with each other, grow in their faith together, help each other in times of crisis, and by coming together we can make a difference in our community and around the world. We love to go to women conferences together such as Women of Joy! We eat lunch and fellowship at the church every 3rd Saturday of the month. And we normally have some type of Bible Study going on. |
